Energetic branding for Hattie’s Kitchen
Hattie’s Kitchen is a new cafe with a laid-back atmosphere and a creative approach to healthy eating. The menu caters to various dietary requirements, providing options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Inspired by founder Hattie's memories of her Nanna’s wholesome meals, Hattie's aim is to establish Hattie’s Kitchen as a go-to destination for nutritious, healthy meals. Eager to challenge the norms of healthy eating and show that healthy food can be delicious and exciting, Hattie approached me to create a brand identity that was bold, unconventional, and inclusive for her new cafe.
We developed a custom logotype for Hattie’s Kitchen's primary logo, featuring slanted letters to capture the energy and alternative approach Hattie envisioned. This unique design is complemented by a custom logo suite and bold typographic brand marks. A vibrant colour palette and assertive fonts communicate the playful spirit of the Hattie’s Kitchen brand. The identity was built out across social media platforms, food-to-go packaging, uniforms and fun stickers to enhance brand awareness. RJC provided Hattie with a detailed brand guidelines document, empowering her to confidently grow her business in the years to come.
