A new look for 25 year old family business, Hojay Pet Products
Hojay pet products, a family-owned business with a long history of providing quality pet products, initially reached out to me for help in creating a product catalogue. As we talked, it became clear that Hojay struggled with establishing a clear identity over the years. They were keen to modernise their image and have a unified brand that matched the quality of their products. Together, we undertook a thorough exploration of the Hojay brand's potential, implementing a complete rebranding process that involved redesigning their product labels.
I designed a logo suite for Hojay that reflects the brand's playful, trustworthy and down-to-earth nature while still looking professional. Drawing on Hojay’s rich history, I created brand marks to establish Hojay as leaders in their industry and show off their experience. With Hojay offering four main product ranges, establishing a cohesive yet distinct colour palette was essential. This facilitated easy identification for customers and streamlined business operations, achieved through the implementation of colour-coded products. Each label features custom illustrations of various pets, reinforcing Hojay's approachable and friendly brand identity.

Redesigning product labels
I helped Hojay revamp and streamline their product labels, ensuring a more user-friendly experience for customers and a clear presentation of information. By carefully selecting fonts and curating custom colour palettes for each product range, we developed labels that are visually appealing and effortlessly communicate essential details. These improvements have positively shaped both potential and existing customers' perceptions of Hojay Pet Products. Additionally, I assisted in refining product descriptions and created templates in their specialised software, simplifying the transition process. I also provided training to empower the Hojay team to confidently create new product labels in the future.
